The Icelandic Music Experiments
The Icelandic Music Experiments is a music festival that lasts for 5 days in the spring. The festival has a 40-year history, but the first attempt took place in 1982. Young people between the ages of 13-25 can apply for participation by submitting an application on the website of the experiments.
The Music Experiments provide an excellent opportunity to observe the grassroots of Icelandic music life, and bands such as Of Monsters and Men, Samaris, Vök, Mínus and Mammút have been victorious.
